Celebrating Mary Brown & a McKenna Ryan Quilt

Wow, I have not posted in about a month. It has been busy around here but I have been taking a few pictures of my latest quilting projects. Mostly prep work on Celebrating Mary Brown:

I have also been working on McKenna Ryan's art quilt "and on this farm"

Love the soulful eyes on this guy.

Goat is in progress and will have a quilt in his mouth

Chicken blocks

Some border appliques

And the main block of the quilt.

Until next time,

  1. Love, love your Mary Brown applique in process - so beautiful!!

  2. Wow, you have been busy. Love your Mary Brown blocks. I saw the finished quilt last month and it is magnificent, so tempted to start it myself.

  3. Oh my Cheri, You are working on some really beautiful projects. I love that sheep. He is wonderful.
I have just gotten my background for the Mary Brown quilt. I hope mine turns out half as nice as yours .

  4. Wow! You've been doing some amazing work!!

  5. Great work and beautiful appliqué Cheri !'re very talented !

  6. I have the Mary Brown pattern but have only just opened the pattern and look at it some. You are making good progress.

  7. Your Mary blocks are wonderful. Prepping seems like it takes forever, but always worth the effort. Loved seeing all those greens auditioning for leaves. The Farm blocks are beautiful. You've chosen some fantastic fabrics that create and blend into a very realistic look.

  8. Your blocks look great Cheri. The farm blocks look like fun. Cant wait to see the quilt in the goats mouth! :-)
