Roseview Album Blocks

I have worked on Roseville Album the last couple days. This long block is what first drew me to this quilt. The pink pig,

and polka dot cow,

the hens and goat.

I also have another of the center blocks finished. I had to pin it outside next to the clematis which is in full bloom.

Hope you are all enjoying summer, happy stitching.

  2. Your clematis is stunning and the block looks so pretty next to it! This looks like a perfect Summer project - such happy frolicking applique animals! I have planted a couple of new clematis and have high hopes for Spring.

  4. Great photos. I am in awe of such intricate appliqué. Are they invisible machine stitched? It is difficult to tell from the photos. Next week I am attending a class on invisible appliqué with a lady from the US called Harriet Hargrave. I am so looking forward to learning that technique.

I really like your Roseville Album quilt. It’s just those trees that make me not want to do it.

  6. Hi. Just discovered your blog because of your Roseville Quilt Photos. I finished mine last year. Yours is beautiful and your fabric choices just adds to the whimsy of the design. Love the fabrics that you picked for the animals. The pig is sweet.
